This workshop aims at presenting the main outcomes of the design studies for the new railway connections of the port of Civitavecchia with the Italian TEN-T Network. The studies have been financed under the CEF Connecting Europe Facility Programme and they will be used as a basis for the works that will be carried out by the end of 2023.  The realization of the project pipeline will permit to improve the efficiency of the shunting operations inside the port of Civitavecchia, increasing the length of the module, removing the interferences between different transport systems. This will result in a more competitive environment for rail transport services on the TEN-T Network.
